Swedish Massage at City Spa Tiel

City Spa Tiel · Massages

The Swedish massage is a classic technique of long strokes alternated with kneading, aimed at deep relaxation and better blood circulation. A timeless choice if you're not sure where to start.

In Swedish massage, relaxing and intensive strokes alternate, aimed at relaxation and loosening muscle knots. This massage is firmer than a relaxation massage but milder than a sports massage — a nice middle ground for those who want to relax and really address tight muscles.

In this treatment, we also use warm foot towels for a complete relaxation moment.

Technique and approach

Swedish massage combines long, flowing strokes with focused, deeper pressure on areas where there is tension. This alternation ensures that the body first relaxes, after which tight muscles can be loosened more specifically.

What you can expect

Beforehand, we discuss where your complaints or wishes lie. During the massage, you alternate between calm and more intensive moments — feel free to say if something feels too firm, and we will adjust the pressure immediately.
