Even more nature

Discover West Betuwe

As a nature lover, you can enjoy a beautiful piece of nature on the banks of the river Waal, just outside Tiel. In 1993, some residents gave this area back to nature, following the raising of the dykes due to high water in 1995. The result? The beautiful nature reserve Wetlands Passewaaij, or Betuwe Passewaaij, stretching over some 40 hectares. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
