Are pets allowed in the hotel?

At Van der Valk Hotel Tiel, dogs are allowed in certain types of rooms. You must indicate that you are bringing pets so that we can accommodate accordingly. What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 14:00 onwards, and check-out is until 11:00. If you wish to check out later or check in earlier, please contact the hotel reception.

Is there a restaurant at Van der Valk Tiel?

Yes, Van der Valk Hotel Tiel has 1 restaurant and 2 hotel bars. The restaurant on the 2nd floor is open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Lobby bar on the ground floor is open from Monday to Wednesday: 09:00 - 00:00, and Thursday to Sunday: 09:00 - 17:00. On the 16th floor, you'll find the SIXX Skybar, an exclusive venue at 53 meters high offering a 360-degree panoramic view over the entire Betuwe region. It is open from Thursday to Saturday: 17:00 - 00:00 and on Sunday from 17:00 to 23:00.

Do I need to make a reservation for the restaurant?

What is the cancellation policy?

Is the reception available 24 hours?

The hotel and reception are available 24/7.

Does the hotel have bicycle storage?

We have a free, covered & lockable bike shed (limited shed capacity; if our lockable bike shed is full, our outside bike shed can be used). We also have charging points for your electric bike, however we recommend you bring the batteries to your room and charge here if possible. 

How much is the tourist tax?

City of Tiel tourist taxes & local charges are €3.00 per person per night.

Which rooms have a bathtub?

Our superior, executive rooms and suites feature a bathroom with a bathtub.
